We refer to the announcements dated 26 January 2015, 9 March 2015, 10 March 2015, 24 March 2015, 18 May 2015, 21 May 2015 and 25 May 2015 in relation to the Proposals (“Previous Announcements”). Unless otherwise stated, the definitions used herein shall have the same meanings as set out in the Previous Announcements. On behalf of the Board of Directors of CapitaMalls Malaysia REIT Management Sdn. Bhd., the manager of CMMT, CIMB is pleased to announce that Bursa Securities has, through its letter dated 8 June 2015, approved the listing of and quotation for up to 299,600,000 new Units to be issued pursuant to the Proposed Placement (including the Proposed CIL Placement) on the Main Market of Bursa Securities, subject to the following conditions: (i) CMMT and CIMB must fully comply with the relevant provisions under the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities pertaining to the implementation of the Proposed Placement; (ii) CMMT and CIMB to inform Bursa Securities upon the completion of the Proposed Placement; (iii) CMMT to furnish Bursa Securities with a written confirmation of its compliance with the terms and conditions of Bursa Securities’ approval once the Proposed Placement is completed; (iv) certified true copy of the resolution passed by the Unitholders in general meeting approving the Proposed Placement; and (v) to incorporate comments provided by Bursa Securities in respect of the draft Circular to Unitholders for the Proposals.
